About GearJoT

We're building the operating system for equipment-heavy operations.

GearJoT exists because most equipment businesses still run critical work across spreadsheets, generic databases, inspection apps, and disconnected communication tools. We think there should be one configurable workspace where the asset, the work, the conversation, and the intelligence all live together.

Why this matters

Equipment operations break when data, follow-up, and context live in different tools. This first slice makes the new GearJoT site real enough to browse, validate, and extend from live Sanity content.

Why we started GearJoT

Equipment operations break down when assets live in one system, inspections happen in another, follow-up gets buried in texts or email, custom workflows end up in spreadsheets, and AI is detached from the real operation.

GearJoT was started to fix that by matching how equipment-driven businesses actually run: field work, inspections, issues, corrective actions, approvals, vendors, customers, and operational exceptions tied back to the equipment itself.

What we believe

The product direction is anchored in equipment operations, configurability, follow-through, contextual collaboration, and governed AI.

Asset-centered

The asset should be the center

Operational context should accumulate around the equipment: history, status, inspections, issues, work orders, documents, and decisions.

Configurable

Operational software should be configurable

Different equipment businesses run differently, so the system should support custom objects, views, workflows, and operating structures.

Follow-through

Inspections should drive follow-through

Success is finding the issue, assigning it, fixing it, verifying it, and learning from it.

Governed AI

AI should be governed and useful

AI should work inside real permissions, real data, and real audit trails to help people operate better.

Who GearJoT is for

GearJoT is designed for equipment-driven businesses such as construction operations, equipment rental businesses, fleet and service teams, dealers and brokers, and mining and industrial operations.

The common denominator is not just fleet management. It is operational complexity built around real equipment, real workflows, and real accountability.
